Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are between you and JMKprints LLC (“JMKprints,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and supplement Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”) for your use of CoParent Family Organizer (“CoParent”).
If these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA on a subject it controls, the Apple Standard EULA controls.
Eligibility and purpose
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to use CoParent. CoParent is an organizational tool. It is not a messaging service, emergency service, medical-record system, legal service, court-record service, payment processor, or substitute for professional advice. Do not rely on CoParent as the only source of time-sensitive, medical, legal, custody, safety, or emergency information.
CoParent Household subscription
CoParent Household is an auto-renewable one-year subscription offered in the United States for $19.99 per year. Eligible new subscribers receive a one-month free introductory trial. At the end of the trial, the subscription automatically renews at the annual price unless canceled through Apple at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Introductory-offer eligibility is determined by Apple.
Payment is charged to the subscriber’s Apple Account. You can restore purchases and manage or cancel the subscription through Apple’s subscription settings. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not immediately delete a Family Space.
One subscription permits the subscriber to own one paid Family Space and invite one co-parent to that Family Space. A person may also participate in additional Family Spaces by invitation. The invitation benefit is not Apple’s Family Sharing feature and does not require the adults to belong to the same Apple family group.
Expiration, removal, and independent continuation
When a paid period ends, CoParent provides seven days of full grace. After that grace period, the affected Family Space becomes read-only and live synchronization pauses. Reading and manual export remain available without an additional fee.
An owner may remove an invited co-parent at any time. Removal immediately ends live sharing. The removed person retains the last local frozen copy already present on that person’s device and may purchase a separate subscription to continue it independently, subject to the one-owned-Family-Space limit. Later independent changes do not rejoin or overwrite the former owner’s Family Space.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for information you enter, people you invite, device and Apple Account security, checking schedule accuracy, keeping appropriate independent records, and protecting manual exports. Do not upload unlawful content, another person’s information without authority, medical records, portal credentials, or content that infringes others’ rights. You may not attempt to bypass subscription or access controls, disrupt the service, reverse engineer the app except where law permits it, or use CoParent to harm another person.
Family information and privacy
Your use is also governed by the CoParent Privacy Policy. Shared content is available to an invited co-parent. Private details are intended to remain local to their adult owner, while Share as Busy exposes blocked time. Use sound judgment and avoid entering information that does not belong in a shared planning tool.
License and ownership
Subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, JMKprints grants you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to use CoParent on supported Apple devices. CoParent, its design, software, branding, and documentation are owned by JMKprints or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You retain responsibility for and any rights you hold in information you enter.
Availability and changes
We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features. iCloud, App Store billing, network access, and device services are operated by third parties and may be unavailable. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, delivery at an exact time, or that every conflict between independently edited records can be resolved without review.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, CoParent is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, JMKprints LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, missed events, family disputes, or decisions made in reliance on the app. Rights that cannot be waived under applicable law remain unaffected.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict use that threatens security, violates these Terms, infringes rights, or abuses the service. You may stop using CoParent, cancel through Apple, delete local Family Spaces, and request assistance using the contact below. Cancellation and deletion have different effects; exported files and another participant’s retained copy are not automatically deleted.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when CoParent or applicable requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
Governing law
Except where consumer law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes not resolved informally will be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Loudoun County, Virginia. Nothing in this section removes mandatory rights available in your place of residence.
